Alvand Marketing Management L.L.C. ("Alvand", "we", "us") is a single-owner limited liability company registered with the Dubai Department of Economic Development, United Arab Emirates, under License No. 1564080. This website (www.alv.ae) is operated from, and hosted in, the United Arab Emirates.

We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL") and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1. Who is the data controller?

2. What personal data we collect

• Contact data you choose to send us — when you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or use the contact form on this site (which opens a pre-filled email in your own email application), we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. This website itself does not store your form entries on any server.
• Technical data — our hosting provider may automatically record limited technical information in server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and access times) for security and operational purposes.
• Consent preference — your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we process it (purposes and legal bases)

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project — based on your consent and on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• To perform our services once we work together — based on the performance of a contract.
• To keep the website secure and functioning — based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe website.
• To comply with UAE legal obligations, including commercial and tax record-keeping.

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for automated decision-making producing legal effects, and we do not send marketing communications without your prior consent.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting and email providers), with professional advisers, or where required by law. As we work with international clients, data may be transferred outside the UAE; where this happens, we do so in line with Articles 22–23 of the PDPL (transfers to jurisdictions with adequate protection, or subject to appropriate safeguards or your consent) and, for EEA/UK data subjects, in line with GDPR transfer rules.

5. How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Data related to client engagements is kept for the duration of the engagement and thereafter as required by UAE commercial and tax law. Server logs are retained for short, security-appropriate periods by our hosting provider.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPL (and, where applicable, the GDPR), you have the right to:

• request access to the personal data we hold about you, and receive it in a portable format;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure of your data, or restriction of processing;
• object to processing, including for direct marketing;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
• lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office or, for EEA/UK residents, with your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, proportionate to the limited data this website handles. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach likely to prejudice your privacy, we will notify the UAE Data Office and, where required, affected individuals, in accordance with the PDPL.

8. Children

This website is directed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
